Since my last blog on 6-12-17 life has been a little busy.
Along with working on my second book titled, "Life and death are in your tongue", I have been mentally organizing and preparing for the release of the book titled "Behind closed doors".
I believe going through hard times can make a person stronger. I have found by writing my own story although it can bring healing, it also brings back the pain of the experience. The people who have agreed to and in a few cases offered to write their stories are to be commended.
It has been on my heart for almost a month now to use the internet more to promote the different projects I've been working on by using not only Facebook and Twitter, but to also use Instagram. In addition, it was placed on my heart yesterday to go live on Facebook. After discussing it briefly with my pastor and friend for confirmation, I am now mentally and physically preparing to go live. This method of marketing is definitely NOT in my comfort zone! However, when you are going where you have never been, you have to do what you have never done. And, I feel peace about it.
Therefore, in preparation for this new adventure in my life;
- I am preparing my office with a backdrop that will allow my private space to remain private.
- I am getting my thoughts together, (making a list of what I want to say) so I prayerfully won't be tripping over my words.
- I'm trying to figure out the best lighting.
- I'm going to explore my laptop to see if I can use it instead of my phone.
- And, I'm thinking of the best angle for the camera lens.
Opening up Facebook this morning there was a post from three years ago that my little sister tagged me in. I was speaking at a - Eden Women's Conference- here in Oregon. Man, how my life has changed. How I have grown since then. I am stronger spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. Even though I know I still have a way's to go, I am not where I used to be.
