Welcome!
I would like to pick up where I left off in my last publishing on 6-15-18, on the power of faith. Although there is so much more to learn and digest on this subject, I would like to give you what I have learned practiced and know to be true thus far.
This can turn into a deep subject matter, however, I will work at not allow that to be the case for this publishing.
Once we accept Jesus into our heart the Father God becomes our heavenly Father. It's like being adopted. Only Our heavenly Father is far greater than an earthly parent, He is love, peace, and joy, and, He cannot lie. He would cease to be God if He did, He has to stay true to His word. That's another reason He can't go against anyone's will, He gave us each a free will and can't take it back.
Faith is a spiritual force and the currency of heaven. The first time I heard the latter part of that statement I thought of currency as in money, but then I thought of a current of electricity moving with power. Faith in God gives Him that power as we raise our hands in surrender, taking them off of the situation, it frees God to be God in our lives. Because we trust Him, we trust that what He said is what He will do. We may not like the journey or the process, but that is where trust in Him comes in, believing He, as our heavenly Father, has our best interest at heart.
I have found that people who don't keep their own word have a difficult time trusting God to His. It says in Matthew 5:37 "But let your 'Yes' mean 'Yes's, and your 'No', mean 'No'. MEV.
As I have said before, I am cautious of what I say because I am bound to my word. I am learning God is bound to His word as well, if He says something He will do it. I have taken Him at His word in some big situations in my life, He did not disappoint me. It's easy to trust someone who has never let you down and has always been there for you, always keeping their word.
Years ago I heard a well-known man of God make the following statement, (it's not word for word, but really close);
It's not hard to trust someone who cannot and will not fail, because He is God Himself.
He was teaching about faith.
God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are three in one and cannot be explained. But once you receive Jesus into your heart there is a sense of peace and joy that are like none other. I have seen God take someone who was hard, mean, selfish and rude and turn them around in the blink of an eye. Only the God I serve could have done something as supernatural as that.
You cannot see air, but you trust when you take a breath it will be there because you have experienced it all of your life. That's an example of how I am with God, I cannot see Him, but I know He is there, giving me life.
