Welcome!   7-11-20

Wages vs Gift

It was approximately four years ago now as I was sitting at the dining room table in my home typing my 1st book, So Thankful! Life Behind The Posts, on my laptop, that the revelation of Romans 6:23, For the wages of sin is death... Hit me!

Looking back on my life I could see what rebelling against God had cost me, and what price I paid for that rebellion.  -- my self-esteem, courage, etc... However, when I repented God was faithful to forgive me for my sin. He has been restoring my self-esteem, courage, etc... every since. It is taking me doing my part Something that I have noticed through the restoration process is that when God restores it is always better than before. also, but He is restoring.
Something that just came to me as I was typing. the Bible says God will forgive us as we forgive others, it also says love thy neighbor as you love yourself. It is important that we forgive not just others, but ourselves as well! The Bible says to forgive that our Father in heaven may forgive you... Mark 11:25-26.
I am learning to love myself enough to forgive myself.

I read a book titled - Your Highest Calling - By Dr. Bill Hamon. In his book, he states that God can only forgive us with the measure we forgive others, which tells me I need to fully forgive myself so God can fully forgive me!

Jesus paid the price for our sins, He paid the debt we owed with His blood. Salvation is a gift that leads to eternal life in every area of our lives.

Not acknowledging Jesus paid the price for our sins and receiving Him as Savior and Lord, keeps us in the place of sin and bondage which leads to death. Spiritual death is tormenting, therefore, there's no peace of mind. When I was out of God's will for my life I was unhappy, I had no peace of mind, something was always missing even when I was having fun something was always missing. The world/ people are searching for peace and hope that can only be found in Jesus, they turn to drugs, alcohol, sex, and violence to find what is missing in their lives. Some, sadly, choose not to receive Jesus into their lives, therefore, they never find peace. hope, strength, and life that can only be found in Him.

Welcome!    7-9-20

Last week as my husband and I were driving around, we went past a church. This church posted something on their signage that was upsetting to me, even though I was not happy with the sign I was reminded of the scripture in John 10, that says, "I lay down My life... No one takes it from me". It was as if God was saying to me, tell the people no one took my life, I gave it freely!

Jesus chose to die for us! He went to hell and paid the price for every sin we have or will ever commit. Salvation is a free gift to us, but cost Him everything, HIS LIFE! His blood redeemed/bought us back from slavery. We are no longer slaves to sin unless we choose to be.

Jesus was beaten with 39 stripes on His back with a cat of nine tales, hung on the cross nails piercing His hands and feet, Committed His spirit to the Father, went to hell, and suffered our torment for 3 days so we would not have to live in torment, then the Father of glory raised Jesus from the dead seating Him at His own right hand. Colossians 2:14-15 Ephesians 1:20-22

He bought us back, He paid the price of our sin for our freedom from every sickness, diseases, depression, anxiety, fear, and poverty of every kind. He already did it all, as He said when He hung on the cross before laying His life down, "It is Finished", John 19:30. 2 Corinthians 2:14
He became sin for us. 2 Corinthians 5:21

Revelations 12:11 They overcame him (satan) by the blood of the lamb (Jesus)... emphasis added.
His blood-bought us back paid the price, redeemed us with His blood!

HE GAVE HIS ALL SO I COULD BE FREE!!!... I LOVE HIM!!!

BLESSINGS, All!

Welcome!     7-4-20

Today we celebrate our independence, just typing this brings a thought to mind. What are we free from?

With everything that's going on in the world, I am free from fear, and I'm free because Jesus took fear upon Himself so I would not have to live in it. I have chosen to receive His peace. I cast all of my care on Him so He is free to care for me.

The Bible says in 1 Peter 5:8 that ...our great enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

Notice it says like a roaring lion.

In Isaiah 54:17 it reads ..no weapon that is formed shall prosper... This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition} is the heritage of the servants of the Lord... AMPC

That scripture tells me that it doesn't matter what weapon is formed, it won't prosper. However, I know it's my job to trust God and stand on His word! Fear, anxiety, confusion, lack of any kind, and so much more are all weapons of the enemy. People belittling you, talking bad about you, etc. Is a weapon.

Example: Years ago when I was working at a beauty school there was a person accused me in a disciplinary meeting of being racist, not only did everyone at the meeting have my back but when one of the co-owners was told about the meeting she said "Tammie!?", my life spoke for itself and that weapon trying to form did not prosper.

Example: A few years ago I discovered the spirit of anxiety had attached its ugly self to me. The Holy Spirit taught me how to overcome it. One thing I had to do was give it to God and cast my cares. I have found there are some things that are a journey, while others may not be and instant deliverance is there. Weapons will form, but we have the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. We are not fighting for victory, we STAND IN THE PLACE OF VICTORY! Satan has already been defeated, he's just trying to convince us that he hasn't.
Stay close to the heart of God, the battle is His!

Something has been stirring in my heart... With everything that is going on in the US and all of the different reports that have been surfacing, something my older sister said to me years ago keeps ringing in my ear. "A lie cannot stand".

If you have been reading my blogs, you may be aware that the reason I trust God as I do is that He has never lied to me, the truth is He CAN'T  lie, there is NO darkness in Him. That being said, if I find a person or an organization in a lie, I no longer trust what they say unless they repent, which means they have turned and changed.
So much of what has been reported has caused anxiety, fear, and division which is of the devil. Hate blinds people to the truth, and pride keeps people from seeing the truth, whatever that truth may be. The spirit of fear controls people and uses people to spread it. Satan can't do anything without a willing vessel to do it through. The love of money and power causes people to do things and make decisions that are not in the best interest of anyone but themselves or their agenda.

Although God did not cause what's happening in the US and around the world, He will use it for His glory. His ways are not our ways. I am finding that to be so true through all of this.
He has told me a few times to stop complaining, keep my mouth shut and be on my knees in prayer. That doesn't mean that my opinions are right or wrong, it means that prayer is what is needed.

Something else that has been on my heart is, what are we a slave to? I'm talking emotionally. What's your mindset? The Bible says in Proverbs 23:7... For as he thinks in his heart so is he... NKJV God has been working with me on this one, He has been healing me of the mindset I have had in different areas of my life. Is our mindset from the past? If so, living in the past won't take you to the future. You will always be stuck there, going around the same mountain. Perhaps you need to forgive what was in your past or that of your ancestors. I know I have had to. I have had to forgive people that have passed away and situations that were long gone. It doesn't matter what the situation is or who the person is-was, we have to forgive if we want God to forgive us, it's our choice but it's not an option.

God has reminded me on several occasions that I don't wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, etc... There are people I really don't care for, but it's the spirit behind their actions that is the real issue and not them. The enemy can't do anything without using people. what people, in my opinion, don't understand is that satans only agenda is to steal, kill, and destroy and will use anyone who will give in to his agenda and to execute it.

Are you a slave? or are you free? I choose freedom! Who the Son set free is free indeed!

BLESSINGS Always!

Welcome!   6-9-2020

My apologies, it's been a few months, no excuses, just not sure what to write.

I have been going live on Fb, it has occurred to me a few times to write about the same topics God gives me to go live and talk about. So until I sense to do differently, that is what I will do.

I go live every Wednesday at 5:00 pm PST on my Fb page, Tammie Conner Pipgras. The topic for the week of the 7th of Jeune is Religion vs Relationship.

Over the past few months, God has brought two friends from my past back into my life. In one situation it was to encourage, well to a degree in both situations.

One of the friends I hadn't talk to in 30 years, she found me on Fb. She has a lot happening in her life, to the point of despair. Although I have not been in her situation I have been to the point of despair, therefore, I am able to encourage her and point her to the ONLY one who can truly help her, Jesus!

I spoke with my friend's adult son on the phone the other day, it was obvious by his slurred speech that he had been drinking. As our conversation progressed he stated that he wasn't a religious person, I replied, "good, neither am I, I have a relationship with Jesus Christ". We talked a bit more then ended the conversation, his mom, called me later.

The next day while pondering my conversation with the young man, I sensed God telling me that He wanted me to talk about Religion vs Relationship on my next Fb live broadcast.

I started thinking about the young man's statement when it occurred to me, I personally do not remember anyone except non-churchgoers making that statement to me.  That doesn't mean they haven't asked Jesus into their hearts, just that they don't attend church.

This is what I know about religion: Religion looks at the outward appearance, vs a relationship with Jesus, He looks at the heart.
Religion convinced me that Father God was a hard taskmaster, ready willing, and able to smack me down if I did anything "wrong". Was I praying enough or reading the bible enough for Him to reward me, was I being good enough for Him?
Religion told me I couldn't look a certain way or act a certain way because God couldn't use me if I was myself. Religion told me If I had a past and was broken God couldn't use me because God only uses the ones that are in the "crowd", those that fit into what man considers acceptable and looks as though everything is ok and their life is nothing short of all together. Religion told me I didn't fit the mold of someone who could record songs, or write a book or multiple books for that matter. Religion told me I didn't dress properly or act accordingly for a situation I was going through. (I shouldn't act so happy).

However, a relationship with Jesus says, come as you are, it says I will take the brokenness of your life and use it for My glory. A relationship with Jesus says I have not given you a spirit of fear, but of power love and a sound mind, so don't be afraid, trust me I won't let you down. No one who trusts God like this-Heart and souls- will ever regret it, Romans 10:11 msg.

Father God sent His only son, Jesus, to be beaten, mocked, have a crown of thorns be placed on His head, take 39 stripes on His back with a cat of nine tails (look it up, it was a horrible whip) having His flesh ripped from His body and His bones exposed, be hung on the cross naked by huge nails piercing His hands and feet, giving up His spirit after proclaiming "IT IS FINISHED" then going to hell for three days to pay the price for our sins and being raised up after making a spectacle of every demonic power and taking back what Adam gave away to satan in the garden of Eden.

It's not up to me to be perfect and get it all right, Jesus already paid the price I owed for everything I have done or will do that isn't right. What He wants is simply a relationship with me that will show forth the love He has for mankind. Which is being changed into the image of Jesus. The Bible states if you see Jesus you have seen the Father.

To me, having a relationship with Jesus means Jesus saying to me, I am going to take your brokenness and use it to show people there is hope, forgiveness, and wholeness in Me. All you have to do is ask for it, and receive it.
As we allow God to change us into His image we won't want to do the things we used to do. I personally know where He has brought me from and how He has brought me through the storms of my life with a sound mind.  Knowing what Jesus has forgiven me for and saved me from causes me to want to live for Him and tell everyone who will listen that in Him I have peace, in Him, I have strength. The Bible tells me that when I am weak He is strong, His strength is made perfect in my weakness. To the natural mind that makes no sense, but in Him, I live, breathe, and have my being.

The Good News is that Jesus died for us so we can live a life of Shalom Peace which Is-- NOTHING MISSING AND NOTHING BROKEN in our lives. Wholeness in Him!

Welcome!        2-3-20

It's been a tough season of life but I'm here to tell you, GOD IS FAITHFUL!

In the past few months not only has it been one of the most painful times of my life, but it's also allowed me to see God's faithfulness in ways I haven't experienced before. However, it has taken me grabbing onto God and His word like never before. No matter what was happening around me God reduced me to love. God IS Love and He challenged me to walk in love, in doing so unconditionally I seen God move in ways only He could.
So I opened my heart up knowing that it could be crushed again, but it wasn't. I had to put my total trust in God casting every care I had on Him leaving my heart in His hands.

The Bible says in Revelations 12:11, And they have defeated him by the blood of the lamb and by their testimony...
I have started daily Appling the blood of Jesus over situations in my life and I can assure you it works.
Imagine you are in a courtroom and satan is bringing charges against you. But Jesus is your lawyer and our Heavenly Father is the Judge. Satan is screaming he's guilty! she's guilty! but Jesus is in your heart, therefore, His blood canceled all debt, (all your sin) so Jesus pleads your case, He pleads His blood!

I hold onto God and His Word. I ask the Holy Spirit to help me to walk in obedience to the voice of God and I surrender to His Lordship. I was bought with the precious Blood of the Lamb, I'm redeemed, and if you have asked Jesus into your heart so are you, it's time we enforce the defeat Jesus paid for.
It may not be easy but the victory has already been won. We need to know who we are in Him,  have His Word in our hearts... Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
These are all things I have learned, but honestly, the biggest thing for me is knowing God cannot lie. the Bible says in
Romans 3:4 let God be true but every man a liar.
This verse lets me know that if God tells me one thing and a person tells me another, I'm going to trust God and His word because they are one, and let my faith work for me.

Welcome!   1-2-2020

Hello to 2020! A New Decade, New Platforms, New areas of Life I have not experienced before!

The following are things I have grown from and learned from in the past four decades;

*  Years ago I prayed about a life-altering decision, I didn't sense an answer, therefore, I took it as a green light to move forward. Instead of moving forward I should have not moved at all. If you don't have a clear direction, don't move, stay put. No answer is a RED light not green.

* God's word states that the wages of sin is death. I didn't realize the magnitude of that statement until a few years ago when I had a lightbulb moment putting two and two together. Wages, something that is paid for something else. (my own definition) Years ago because of one bad decision I made, I was mad at God because of the horrific outcome of that decision so I went against His word and made another life-altering decision. All of these years later although I have definitely grown from everything Jesus has brought me through, as I look back I can see what it has cost me. It wasn't God's fault, it was mine, it was His strength that has brought me through everything I have went through.

* Years ago I made a decision based on the way I wanted to live my life. A person close to me was upset with me for making that decision. Because I didn't want that person mad at me and felt this person had good morals themself, I changed my decision. What did I learn from that? Don't allow someone else's anger or another person, in general, to run your life.

* I have learned red flags they are there for a reason, don't ignore them!

* I have also learned to pay attention to what people say, out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

*  I have learned when God speaks to me (in my heart) no matter what any circumstance may say,
He Is Faithful to perform His word! I learned to ask Him for scripture from His Word to confirm what He has told me and hold onto it like a bull-dog, no matter what... He will NEVER go against His Word. Sometimes as I am reading the Bible a scripture will jump out at me and I know it's for me from God. He is also teaching me the many ways He speaks.
If I want to make a decision in my life and it goes against His Word, I change direction, I have learned from my mistakes.

* I am learning to rest in Him, what do I mean by that? I'm learning not to worry about stuff even when it feels uncomfortable. He says in His word He will take care of me, I am learning to trust Him and do just that. I rest in His Word (In Him). God is teaching me to Trust HIs Word! There have been times He has given me a direction that has taken faith but He has taught me He always opens the door.
I have also learned God will never tell me to do anything but that it turns out for my good. Even if it appears unsettling to do, He gives me strength as I move forward in obedience.

* Through spending time with God in prayer and His word The Spirit has taught me to follow His leading. (to me) His leading is something where I cannot rest until I have done what He has directed me to do.

* Since the Holy Spirit is gentle and won't push Himself on anyone I have asked Him to remind me if I have given my word about something until I make my word good. And He does.

* I have learned the way to go from faith to faith and glory to glory is through the trials of life by Leaning on and Trusting in Him through it all knowing that He has already made the way and will see me through no matter how hard, painful or impossible the situation may be or seem to be.

* He is teaching me that it is my faith/trust in Him (His Word) that is going to get the job done. He did His part, believing and receiving is my part. He's teaching me that the Spirit Realm IS Indeed more real than the natural realm. God is Spirit, He defeated satan (the natural realm). He has and continues to prove Himself to me, I have tested His Word on things that in the natural were impossible, but With God, Trust in Him, and faith in His Word, All things are possible! even if it takes years.

* My faith is built on a firm foundation, Jesus the Son of the Living God! When all of hell has broken loose in my life throughout my life each time my foundation grew stronger. I have written several times in these publishings that I'm big on keeping my word and others keeping their word. Jesus has proven to me that He does indeed keep His Word. To me, that is Huge! He has proven it to me time and time again, that's the foundation I have learned to stand on over the past four decades of my life. Before then I was going by what I was taught by man, I am now going by what I have been taught by His Spirit and how He has brought me through by His strength and the promises He has kept to me in the face of hopelessness.

* On huge thing I needed to learn was not to rely on relying on a man to hear from God for me but to go straight to the source. A huge mistake in my life taught me that with the quickness. That situation was the beginning of seeking God for myself, even though God definitely uses men and women of God to teach me, however, they always back it with the word of God. Even then if it doesn't agree with my spirit I set what was taught aside and seek God for myself in the situation,

* I am learning to trust His guidance even when it makes no sense in the natural, or even when it does make sense but is almost spoken to me in a parable. Or when He lets me know something is going to happen but doesn't give me the date, He expects me to trust Him, just like Abraham did.

There are so many things the Lord has taught me, and so many more that I need to still learn.

He has begun a good work in me and He WILL complete it until the day of Christ! In Jesus Name Amen!
