Welcome!   12-28-19

Yep, it has been since August since I've published.

With the New Year, only a stone's throw away I have been talking to God about several things, my ministry with these publishings, my books, the non-profit, my huge project, (the business I am opening), so many things!

As I was pondering what I have been through in life and how I KNOW God is the ONLY way I have made it through, it came to me. What I have been through isn't what matters, what does matter is that Jesus brought me through everything, even when life hit and my heart hurt so bad at times it was hard to breathe, Jesus was there giving me strength and peace!  Even when I said God I don't want to do this anymore, I recognized it wasn't about me, He gave me His strength to keep moving forward.

I understand what I have been through helps me relate to others and helps them to know they are not alone. But, more importantly, I can point them to Jesus, not just saying, but knowing He's brought me through. HE IS FAITH TO HIS WORD! HE'S A PROMISE KEEPER!
My personal opinion is that people are so used to man's way of doing things, (not keeping their word) that unless they know God for real and not as a religion, they will think He is the same way. I know I did.

I don't want others to just see my life as what I have been through, but to see the ONE that brought me through! I want people all around the world to know that if He can bring me through to healing and restoration, He can and will do it for them too! Yes, He is still working on me, but that's called growth. We are supposed to continually be growing from faith to faith and glory to glory!

About a month ago at bible study, there was a comment made as an observation towards something I have said many times. As I was stating (once again) that all I have own is abuse, a very wise comment was made, that I have not only known abuse, but I have also known the love of God. That comment/observation woke me up to the truth of my life! Although yes, I have known a life of abuse, more so, I have known the love of God!.... He loves you as much as He loves me!
Even when we mess up He still loves us, no matter what the mess up is. Jesus knew we were going to mess up before He died for us, and He did it anyway.

As I walk not only into 2020 but a new decade, my prayer to my heavenly Father is that He will use me from January 1st, 2020 and way beyond for His glory! Every word that I speak, every book that I write, every platform He places me on, every blog that I publish, at my beauty school, daycare and non-profit will all be for His glory! WITH GOD, ALL THING ARE POSSIBLE!

Welcome!     7-13-19

Spending time with God this morning giving thanks for what He is doing in my life, He once again reminded me of a promise He gave me. That promise reminded me of the following scripture and a message I heard many years ago.

Ephesians 6:13-14 ...having done all to stand. V-14, Stand, therefore...

The message I heard is the story of Joseph's father, Israel, found in Genesis 37.
To sum the message up, if Israel would have remembered the dreams God gave to Joseph, he would not have believed the report from his brothers of his death.

As I was reading through the different notes in my journal this morning, on 6-5-19 I wrote about a conversation I had and then added my thought, "I told you I would". As I added that thought God echoed in my heart those same words, "I told you I would". That and a few other ways God has reminded me of the word He gave me are reminders to me that He is indeed faithful and no matter what the situations are in my life, His word is eternal and true. situations change but His word never changes. He is the same yesterday today and forever, He and His word are one.

8-6-19

Last night I was listening to a message by Derek Prince on YouTube, although he passed away many years ago his teachings remain powerful and full of revelation, wisdom, and knowledge. To sum up what I received from his message is, giving my testimony is needed and important. I have been talking to God about going live again on FB, many thoughts cross my mind when pondering it. What will people think? What will the message be when I go live? Is it even needed?
Number one, I have been concerned about what others have thought all of my life, but at the end of my life I don't to them, I answer to God. I could say more on that subject, but I will leave it right there. Second, what will the message be when I go live? That's up to God, I simply need to be obedient to what He is giving me to say and say it. Third, when God gives me the subject and the boldness to bring it forward, it will be needed.

Last week I went to coffee with a friend from my teen years. As the conversation progressed it was evident she was desperate for help and hope. Even though I had not gone through what she had, because of what I had been through by the grace of God I was able to point her to Jesus and His Word without having reservations, knowing that I know the message of hope will help her.
She believes in God, and even though we haven't discussed it I believe she loves God, but as I have discovered believing in God isn't enough.

When I was seven I asked God if He was real to show me, and He did. So I have believed in God since that point in my life, but it wasn't until 2001 when my grandson was born 3 months premature which came with difficulties such as a bleed on the brain that I needed to know Him as a healer. Then from 2006 and on, I needed to know Him as my strength, my peace, my protector, my stronghold, and my provider. I'm learning He is whatever I need Him to be whenever I need Him to be it! It is ONLY by the grace of God that I have my right mind to testify of His goodness and faithfulness, which in truth is part of His goodness.
I was raised in religion, therefore, I had a religious mindset, I am coming out of that by newing my mind with the word of God. I am seeing things in the light of Gods word instead of man's rules, tactics, and manipulation. Religion ties you down, the Gospel frees you! If the Son set you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36
Jesus came to give us life and that more abundantly! The cost of our redemption was high but God wanted a family so He gave His best, Jesus, His only Son to earth to pay the price in His own blood for our sins to free us, redeeming us back to Himself through Jesus if we choose.

I am discovering that I have a covenant with God, a contract that He will not break! If it's ever broken it would have to be by me. The main reason I know I can trust Him is that He has never lied to me! If He broke His covenant with me it would be breaking His contract with me, but He is good to His word, He's faithful! He made a promise to Abraham that he and his seed would be BLESSED, that promised has been passed on to Isaac, Jacob, Jesus and now me because I am a joint-heir with Jesus because I have accepted Him into my life as my savior. He redeemed me from the power of darkness placing me into the Kingdom of His dear Son.

The more I am learning about His will for me, knowing what He has brought me through, the more I want to give my testimony.
Revelations 12:11 And they overcame and conquered him because of the blood of the lamb and because of the word of their testimony...

Welcome!    7-6-19

Wow, it's hard to imagine 2019 is half over! But it is.

It has been over a month since my last publishing. I'm just going to speak from my heart, some may understand where I am coming from, others may not, and that's ok.

Spiritually, there has been such a battle raging to try and stop the things of God from coming to pass in the lives of Gods people that it has had me in a mental battle, or mental torment. I am the type of a person if I know why I am going through something it somehow makes the battle easier, giving me the strength to hold on and keep moving forward. Do I like the battle? unless I know the why's, no! However, if I know them I am at peace knowing that I have the victory through Jesus.
Truthfully, as strange as it sounds, it excites me knowing the enemy of my soul is fighting a losing battle. It also excites me because I know what God has spoken to my heart through His word and as I have written in previous publishings, He has never lied to me or failed me. A week or so ago as I was washing my SUV I was listening to an evangelist on Youtube, he said that he has seen more Christians give up right before the breakthrough. That is how I have felt, the mental torment from the enemy came with the thought of, forget it, I'm done, BUT... NOT SO! After hearing the same message from others I respect in the faith I recognized what was happening. The enemy has been fighting WAY too hard trying to cause me to give up for breakthroughs in my life not to be here.

I know in my heart I don't even need to reach out for it, I can touch it, it's here! One thing I have learned for sure, once I have conceived it in my heart it's only a matter of time before I see it in the natural.

God is so mindful of us! I have been asking God some questions, He gave a word to someone (who stays close to his heart) to give to the multitudes, in that word He answered the questions I have been asking and then some. He confirmed to me the word was for me by repeating the questions I have been asking Him through this person word for word. She doesn't live in the United States, I have never met her.

Even though the enemy had been attacking my mind I knew I could not give up, there is too much at stake! I am so thankful He sent encouragement and confirmation from men and women of God to help in time of need.

On another note, I submitted the second book I wrote titled "I am..." to Trilogy publishing company, owned by TBN. It was read and excepted. I'm looking forward to its publishing! God gave me favor with Trilogy and opening the door, He will complete the work for publishing.

Welcome!    5-7-19

Why Do I trust Him, ~God~?

Because He can't and won't lie to me! He is an eternal God. Whatever He says is. He never changes so I know He won't go back on His word to me and He wants the very best for me.

I was just thinking, I could give you many "religious" reasons I trust Him, reasons one would probably expect to hear. Truth is, I am huge on honesty! Just keep your word to me! He has done that! He met me where I was at and continues to do so. I have listened to a few messages on this subject, from those messages I know now why He can't lie, listed above.

I was talking to my prayer partner on the phone the other day having an awesome, uplifting, conversation when I mentioned I believe the reason people ~Christians~ have a hard time trusting God is that their word can't be trusted. She thought I should blog on that subject. So I am.

Truthfully, that is one reason I had to learn to trust God's word, I couldn't trust the word of most people ~Christians~. Honestly, even though I was raised in the church I did not see Gods word manifest much growing up which added to my apprehension of trusting God. Without going into lengthy detail, now that I am getting to know God, His word and His ways for myself I am understanding some of the reasons why I hadn't seen prayers answered, and it wasn't on Him!

This publishing is not to bring condemnation, but awareness and something to talk with God about.

There was a situation in my life, as I have stated in previous publishing's and in my first book titled ~So Thankful! Life Behind The Posts~, that seemingly was impossible. I did the only thing I knew to do, I put my trust in God and His word. His word promises me I have the victory through Jesus among many other promises. So I held onto it, I found out for myself,  He didn't lie to me! He kept His word! Mere words cannot express how huge that was to me. I did my part and He did His.

Excerpt from my 1st book titled, ~So Thankful! Life Behind The Posts~.

"I hung onto God and His word, I knew He could not lie! At least that is what His word said. I had a choice to believe it or die inside. I chose to live!"

But it required some things of me, my time with Him in His word, in prayer and simple conversation with Him throughout the day, and having faith in His word. As I have spent quality time with Him I am coming to know His ways. As I spend time with Him He speaks to me about different situations in my life, giving me a word ~scripture~ to back up what He has said to me. His word is the final authority in my life, therefore no matter what the circumstances, I trust Him. When God shows me something and gives me a word ~scripture~ to back it, I trust that He will do what He told me He would do. Again, He won't lie to me! He is my best friend, He's been there for me on countless occasions when my heart was shattered as I cried myself to sleep.

If we don't trust what we say, how are we going to trust what God says? We are made in His image. I've had to slow myself down and pay attention when giving my word. I was guilty of not keeping my word, It definitely wasn't a habit but it happened. I didn't call it lying, but it was. Looking back that is also when I had a difficult time trusting Gods word, there was more to the trust issue in my life, but that was definitely a part of it. That is also when I wasn't spending quality time with Him. He took me to the end of myself to find Him.

When I was a little girl about 9 years of age I was invited to a friends home after church, I was given permission so I happily went. I was surprised to discover that my friend's mom was not the same at home as she was at church, that discovery put a lasting impact on my life. She wasn't horrible, but her mannerism was hard, not soft or nice. She was one way at church and another at home, at least that was the case that Sunday.

The world needs to see Christ Jesus in His church, not see His church ~Christians~ who are supposed to be transformed by the renewing of our minds trying to live a ~Christian~ life continuing to be a fence walker. Or see how far they can dip their toes in the world and still profess to live for Christ. The more I am on social media, the more saddened I have become as I read posts from Gods kids that should know better. My thoughts are, really!? are you kidding me!? People that don't know Jesus as their Lord and Savior are supposed to see Gods kids loving each other, not judging anyone! recognizing that we all bleed red no matter the color of our skin instead of dividing us up into categories. Jesus did not do that so why are His kids doing it???

I have been praying that God raises His people up in the fear, ~Reverance~ of the Lord with boldness, unwilling to compromise! That our eyes are opened to the enemies traps and the fog is lifted from our eyes. It's time to grow up!

I know that everyone has a bad day, I know I've had my share of them, but I also know if we call our selves a "Christian" we are being watched. My question is if someone is watching your life, listening to your conversations, or watching to see if you keep your word, even in the smallest of things, what are they going to see? Better yet, are they going to want Jesus, watching your life?

Welcome!            5-2-19

When the teacher is silent!

In my years as a cosmetology instructor, I had the privilege of educating many wonderful, enthusiastic, and talented men and women of all ages, from all walks of life in the art of hair design. I taught the freshman class for a handful of years before taking a promotion to lead instructor.

I taught my students how I wished I had been taught, instructing them to highlight important text information during theory and quizzing most every day in preparation for upcoming exams.

During the exams, all desks were cleared except for a pencil, cell phones put away and the room silent until the last paper was completed and handed in. I watched my students ensuring everyone's eyes were on their own paper. I explained exam rules to the students prior to starting so there would be no room for misinterpretation of the process.

Just as I was silent, watching from my desk or perhaps walking around the classroom letting my presence be known, so is God during tests. He has taught me well and given me His word which is more powerful than I truly know. I have heard it taught a few times that the power of the word will bring the truth of the word and from my life's experiences I know that statement to be true.

I have been pondering different situations in my life, the following truths are just a few of what my teacher ~the Holy Spirit~ has taught me. Tithing connects me to the BLESSING, as long as I trust Him, heart, and soul, I will not regret it. As long as I cast my cares on Him any situation I face is in His jurisdiction, He is obligated to take care of it. He has given me the victory through my Lord Jesus Christ. If I have truly surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus, I shall not want.

~It's a matter of mindset~. ~ As a man thinks in his heart so is he~ Proverbs 23:7

Christians are so used to believing the lie of the enemy that we have adhered to the world's way of doing things, I know I did. I also know there is a shift taking place. It doesn't matter what I see around me, or what my circumstances may be. God's word is my final authority, He cannot lie and He never changes His mind. He has given us His oath, His promises or covenant. So why do we not trust Him? In my opinion, it's because we don't know Him. I know that was my case for most of my life.

I was raised in the church but only knew of Him, I didn't really get to know Him until I took the time to spend quality time with Him in His word and prayer. It cost me sleep time because I made my self get up earlier to have that quality time, and still do. I need it! God can only give me what I am able to receive from Him, it takes knowing Him and trusting Him to do what He said He will do.

It's time for the body of Christ to stand up and take our place! Jesus already defeated satan, the bible says we are kings and priests and have been given authority over the work of His hands. I heard a message that was a light bulb moment and changed my thinking, in the message the pastor taught that satan is the work of His hands. Another light bulb moment was when my Bishop taught that satan is the prince of the air since I am a king I have authority over him, he IS DEFEATED! Jesus went to hell and disarmed him. Colossians 2:15
We as the body of Christ need to realize he is a thief and a liar and will do anything to cause us to think differently. No one is above being deceived, I know I have been and need to be on guard not to be deceived again. God is Love and satan is hate! It's that simple.

It's easy to conform to the world's way of doing things and peer pressure, but that doesn't bring peace and hope. The enemy is a bully and will use whoever will give in to his temptations. People like power however they can get it. I believe that's one reason surrendering to God is hard for many. I know it was for me! My thought was will things happen the way I want them to happen, what if I look stupid, what if I get hurt, and the list goes on! God had to take me to the end of myself where surrendering to Him was my only option. But with surrendering came PEACE! I know God's word tells me if I trust Him, heart and souls, I will not regret it Romans 10:11 the message translation.
I trust Him! I am casting the cares of my life over to Him! Every time the thought of life's challenges gets in my face, I remind the enemy of the word of God.

I went through a short time of mental torment about a month ago. You name it, it was bombarding my mind. The battlefield is in the mind, that's why it is SO important to renew our minds with the word of God so we will be able to take the shield of faith and the sword of the spirit ~which is the word of God~ and fight the good fight of faith. Faith in God's word is supernatural, it ALWAYS WINS!  He never promised us we wouldn't have trouble,  but He did promise us victory!
1 Corinthians 15:57.

God is SO GOOD! During the time satan was bombarding my mind God sent a word through a woman of God via FB and email confirming to me that I was indeed being attacked and the reason for the attack. One thing I have found to be true is when negative thoughts come at me telling me the opposite of what I know to be true, indeed the opposite of what my mind being bombarded with is true. I tell satan, "that fact that you are telling me this, tells me the opposite is going to happen". We cannot confront satan with our thoughts, we have to open our mouths and speak the word ONLY! When we have faith in the words we speak based on the word of God satan runs. That's one reason praising God is so important, it brings God into our situation, all forces of darkness have to leave!
I don't care what my circumstances say, Gods word says this..... That's why it's so important to know God's word, to fight back! In Ephesians  6:10-19 God tells us what the armor of is. Praise and being thankful are also powerful weapons.

The children of Isreal didn't enter the promised land because they murmured and complained so God said ok forget it, you'll have what you're saying.

With Jericho, they followed Gods instructions let out a shout of praise and the walls came down.

God told me whatever I put my hand to would prosper and He would guarantee the BLESSING on me and all I set my hand to do as long as I follow His word. Deuteronomy 28. I do my part and He WILL do His part!

For the past month or so I have been listening to teachings on the BLESSING,, and the covenant asking God to give me the revelation of these two very important subjects. I have also been praying the prayer of Jabez from 1 Chronicles 4:10... As I was listening to a teaching on this verse the pastor explained that Jabez was asking God to enlarge his ability to receive how God sees him, so I have been praying that prayer almost daily. God is granting me as I have asked.

So even though the teacher is silent, He has taught me well! I am passing the tests and entering the promised land! Then on to the next teaching and exams, from faith to faith and glory to glory!

Welcome!    3-29-19

Logging on to my publishing's, I noticed It's been almost a month since I have published a blog.

I am in a place in my life I have never been. It's a place a freedom, wholeness, and total surrender. As I have stated in previous publishing's, surrender to many means loosing freedom to be who they are. To me, it's finding who I truly am.

In this place of surrender, I am finding peace and strength to move forward in the calling that is on my life. It's meant I have put less meaningful things aside for those that are truly meaningful to me. Things that used  to take time away that I could never get back. It's meant recognizing and acknowledging pride in my life that was holding me back. Some may think pride is good, to me, it became a form of bondage.

As I was sitting with the Lord this morning, I was reminded of a message I heard that struck home with me. The evangelist stated, Jesus is your Savior, but is He your Lord? Sadly, my answer was no. Then the 23 Psalm came to me, " The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want". Then it hit me, He is my Savior, but I haven't allowed Him to be my Lord. To me, If I haven't allowed Him to be my Lord, the 23 Psalm doesn't apply. Scripture say's in Luke 6:46 "Why do you call Me, 'Lord, Lord', and do not practice what I tell you? AMP

To me, allowing Him to be Lord in my life means total surrender on my part, whatever that may be. Jeremiah 29:11 says His plans are to prosper me, and not harm me to give me a future and a hope. He knows the way to what He has for me. If I am not in total surrender to Him, how do I expect Him to lead me there?

His word tells me to walk in love and forgive, to not hold grudges or gossip. To simply listen to Him and do as He is asking me to do.
I thought I was in total surrender, but the more time I spent with Him doing the things He asked me to do, the more light He shined on my ways. Each step of obedience opens the door to more truth and His promises. Each step in His truth is one more step in freedom, each step in freedom is one more step in His fullness.  I surrender all!

Welcome!     2-26-19

Wow, it's a little shy of a month since my last publishing.

Between research and meetings for the different projects I am working on, I have been busy. Not to mention spending time with my grandkids, Very important! Time has slipped away from me.

My research is confirming some of what I have suspected for a long time along with giving me new information. My newly found knowledge has taken me back to the past and helping me under why I made some of the unwise decisions I have that has placed me on a wrong path.

As I went back through memory lane I felt compelled to reach out and try to right some of the wrongs that I wasn't sure I had. Although that happened successfully, there was a "but" that came to the forefront of the conversation. It reminded me that God will forgive, but man will look for and bring up every mistake you made and wrong that you have done wanting to throw it in your face as though they had never done a wrong.

So where do I go from here? I go forward! I leave the past behind allowing my life to speak for its self. Knowing that Jesus died for me and forgave me because I asked for forgiveness knowing I did wrong. I turned and walked away from the wrong way of doing things. Have I still made mistakes along the way? Yes, but I repent and keep walking. I guard my heart not allowing foolishness to clutter it causing me to think on anything that isn't taking me where God is leading me. I pray and ask God to bless anyone that has wronged me or talked about me behind my back and show His Self so real to them that their lives will be totally changed by His love mercy and grace. And I leave them in His hands.

Welcome!     1-31-19

Wow! January is already gone.

The following story leads to where I am today...
In 2007 my life literally felt as if it was caving in on me, I felt as though I was drowning and I couldn't breathe, it wasn't a panic attack, but all of hell breaking loose and surrounding me, or so it seemed.

Out of my desperation to survive emotionally, mentally, and physically I turned to God, getting real with Him. What do I mean by getting real?
I spent quality time with Him, in His word, in prayer, and simply talking to Him throughout my day as I would anyone. I needed peace and strength for survival. I no longer cared about what anyone thought about my situation nor did I asked for anyone to hear from God for me. I needed to hear from and know God for myself. I've been that way ever since.

I'm not saying that I don't seek Godly counsel, I'm saying that I talk to God about whatever situation I am facing first, and wait for His direction. If His direction is seeking counsel, then so be it. But along with that counsel, I ask for scripture to back it. The council should agree with scripture and to me, confirm that it's from God.

If you have asked Jesus into your heart and accepted Him as savior, recognizing He died on the cross and God raised Him from the dead, then you are His child. But we are not supposed to stay children, we are supposed to grow up in the things of God and learn of Him. Just as we see children grow up and learning in all stages of life, we are to grow up in the things of God as well. That is what I hadn't done up to that point in my life, until 2007.

As it is with any good healthy relationship, it takes taking the time for intimacy. Some are not willing to give that time, others are. I personally make the time, giving God the first of every day. I admit not every day is as intimate as others, but I need that time, it's not an option for me. In Him, I live and breathe and I have my being. I know what He has brought me through, and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I need intimacy with Him, especially with everything He has placed on my heart to do. I need to know Him intimately and hear from Him clearly. That takes daily fellowship with Him.
I, by no means, think of myself as being any more special than anyone else. I just know that everything thing around me was caving in and I was dying inside when Jesus rescued me, giving me the strength to live spiritually, emotionally, and physically. He restored health to my body and healed all of my wounds. Jeremiah 30:17.

My testimony is, finding God for myself, for real! And receiving His Love, Goodness, and Grace!
He's allowing me to use the brokenness in my life for His glory, by being real with the pain and mistakes of my life that led me to the one who can put those broken pieces back together, better than ever before.

Welcome!       1-23-19

Be still and know that I am God! Psalms 46:10

To me, this verse is saying, chill out! relax! stop talking, listen for a moment and remember what I have said. I keep my word! I am God!

Salvation is a free gift, Jesus paid for it with His shed blood on the cross. He paid a price for me that I definitely could not afford to pay. He did it to set me free from the curse that came on the earth through Adams sin of relinquishing the earth to the snake (the devil) in disobedience to God. Genesis 2:17 MEV

Before Jesus bowed His head and gave up His spirit, He said: "it is finished!" John 19:30.
Knowing that Jesus paid to set me free (paid the price) with His blood tells me a few things. It tells me that He loves me! He knew what He was facing, the pain and torcher. That's why in the garden of
Gethsemane He prayed, ...."My Father, if there is any way you can deliver me from this suffering, please take it from me. Yet what I want is not important, for I only desire to fulfill your plan for me. Then an angel from heaven appeared to strengthen Him.  Matthew 26:39. TPT
For this is how much God loved the world-He gave His one and only, unique son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in Him will not perish but experience everlasting life. John 3:16 TPT

Since "it is finished!", it also tells me that I don't have to live under the curse anymore, (poverty, sickness, or lack of any kind). He gave me His word that "it is finished" He paid for my salvation, my freedom from the curse of the law being made a curse for me.
Yet, Christ paid the full price to set us free from the curse of the law. He absorbed it completely as he became a curse in our place. For it is written: "Everyone who is hung upon a tree is doubly cursed." Galatians 3:13 TPT

As I have stated in prior publishings, I trust Him! He has never lied to me or let me down. I have tested His word in huge situations, holding His word as the final authority in my life, not allowing anything but His word come out of my mouth. He came through every time! no question about it. 😍

He says in Romans 10:11. Scripture reassures us, "No one who trusts God like this-- heart and soul--will ever regret it. MSG

He does meet us where we are, but He also expects us to grow up just like a baby grows up. To me, growing up means "Trusting Him-- heart and soul!" He starts us trusting Him with the little things like a nursing baby, then we graduate to the bigger stuff like baby food, eventually, we continue to graduate to meat, trusting Him in the big stuff.
He gives us His Word and His Spirit. His Word is filled with His promises to us. He does His part! The question is, do we do our part? Walking in love and forgiveness? For starters.
Not any one person is given the same path, in my opinion, some paths are harder than others. By design or choice, I don't know. But I do know that just as the angel strengthened Jesus in the garden when he surrendered to the will of the Father in Matthew 26:39, He will send strength for us also as we go through times of testing. I know because it has happened to me on many occasions. So many times, I just wanted to run and not look back! leave life as I knew it. Each time He sent strength for me, that's why I have said so many times "He is my strength!", I'm not just saying it, I have experienced it over and over again, I know it to be so, He is my strength!

I remember a time a few years ago, I read, 1Coritnthians 10:13. No temptation has overtaken you but such is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.
I thought, YESSS! He's giving me the way out. I was disappointed when I found that His strength was my escape. It was one of those situations when I needed to surrender to His plan, saying not my will but yours. I am learning that it's my attitude that will determine my altitude. It's not about what seemingly makes my life easier, it's about people seeing Jesus in me, the Gospel. The Good News! Will I get it right everytime? No, but that's when I ask for forgiveness, and if I forgive others I know I will be forgiven. Mark 11:25, And when you stand praying, if you find that you carry something in your heart against another person, release him and forgive him so that your Father in heaven will also release you and forgive you of your faults. TPT

If Jesus can forgive, so can I. Luke 23:34, While they were nailing Jesus to the cross, he prayed over and over, "Father forgive them, for they don't know what they're doing"... TPT

Welcome!    1-10-2019

   HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Wow, 2019 is here.
The last few hours of 2018 was uneventful for me, I actually woke up right before midnight to the sound of fireworks announcing 2019 is here!

I said to myself, "this feels like the same old stuff, but another year". That may be how it felt, but that's not going to be the case. I am determined as much as it depends on me, 2019 will NOT be the same ole same ole!

I have a passion in my heart to see and experience greatness in many areas of my life, not for myself, but to help others! I don't care about being in the spotlight, but that seems to be where God is placing me, totally out of my comfort zone. Every direction Jesus takes me, the spotlight is there. whether it's sharing my testimony via the books I write, the blogs I publish,  speaking engagements, my nonprofit, etc. Not to mention the other huge project I have been working on for over 6 years which is placing me in front of people with master degrees and CEOs of companies compared to my GED and cosmetology certificate.

God gives me the words to hold my own, I have wisdom, knowledge, and experience. Yes, these people are important! But, so am I! They know who I am and what I bring to the table. I submitted an important document pushing to have it evaluated, I received positive feedback stating it appeared to be thorough, YESS! Only God!!  That statement told me the document I submitted passed, giving me a direction to further my journey towards the completion and passing of my project to open my business.

This is the year, I am determined by the grace of God this year will NOT be the same ole same ole!
