   Oh my goodness this year has come and now is leaving, time is going by too fast! If it wasn't for grandkids the tree may have not been a decoration in our home this year.

   After my 5year old grandson and I decorated the tree, my youngest granddaughter ~1-year-old~ would reach for an ornament on the tree as she looking at me as I called her name, then boom, she would pull the ornament off of the tree. My solution, I quit turning the lights on when she came over, no attraction meant no temptation, problem solved.

   As I mentioned in previous publishing, I joined a group on FB. The founder of the group posted a question asking what good or awesome things happened for you in 2018? I was grateful for the question because it caused me to reflect on the things God has nudged me to do this year that has taken me COMPLETELY out of my comfort zone, but pushing me toward the calling on my life.

   The more I learn to trust God, I'm realizing that even though it may not make sense to me, to just go with the little nudges or pressings. That's where the peace is, in the obedience! Giving up what feels comfortable and safe, walking on the water perse. God is teaching me giving up my comfort zone, my will, or my way of doing things and surrendering to His way of doing things is what is leading me to true salvation and life.

   I used to think that salvation was simply asking Jesus into my heart and knowing I was going to heaven. Through teaching from Dr. Bill Winston, I came to the knowledge that it's much more than that.
It's everything Jesus paid for, that my salvation isn't complete unless I'm increasing in every area of my life. Spiritually, physically, financially, in my family, and socially. It's my heart's desire and I fully intend to be living out my salvation to it's fullest through Jesus Christ.
   How many people want that and are willing to do whatever it takes to live out their salvation? It takes surrender, that's a dirty word to many, but not to me! In surrender is where I have found the peace, joy, strength, rest, and wholeness of God! Lord being my helper, that's where I'll stay!

   Merry Christmas! Happy Holiday's! Peace on Earth!

   God is truly faithful, He amazes me!

   For the past two Saturdays, I have taken my 1st book ~So Thankful! Life Behind The Posts~ to a Holiday Bazaar. Promoting myself is not my strong suit, God knows that. Before going to the bazaar I asked God for book sales and divine connections. I believe I was intentionally seated next to a lady selling aromatherapy rocks (which she personally makes). She was quiet at first, not really saying anything to me. As a couple people came to my table I gave them a brief introduction as to how the writing of my book came about and a little history of my life. The next thing I knew she had taken me under her wing,. She talked to the person in charge of the bazaar, again, the next thing I knew I was behind the microphone reading an excerpt from my book. When I came off the platform it seemed as though women were drawn to my table, purchasing a copy of my book, asking me for my card, and let me know they couldn't wait to read it.
   I connected with several people who had their own businesses which definitely have the potential to be a resource to me in more than one project I am currently am working on.

   I have also joined a Facebook group called, Speak up Sis! It's a community and safe space for women from all walks of life, to tell the truth of their lives, to, Speak up Sis! It's helped me get further out of comfort zone and hopefully, I've helped and will continue to help other women in some way. There are rules everyone is asked to agree to and adhere to if we chose to remain a part of the community of sistas, but that's a good thing.

   I have two additional books I have authored, and one I am currently writing, Lord willing, they will be released in 2019. They are titled, ~I am~... ~Life and death are in your tongue~... And ~Married to the Unknown~. I have one book I am the co-author of, Lord willing, will be released in 2019, titled, ~Behind closed =doors~.  I'll keep you all updated on the release of these books. Proceeds from the book titled ~Behind closed doors will go into my Nonprofit ~Behind closed doors~ to help fight human trafficking and abused children and adults.

 2018 has been a year of preparation for me, a year of drawing closer to God and holding on to His promises no matter the storms of life that are raging around me look like. One thing I know for sure is that God cannot lie! His word holds true above ALL else.
   My personal thought is that people are so used to being deceived, lied to and let down that when it comes to believing and trusting God, they don't realize that He isn't like everyone else. That is something I have come to the truth of for myself. I have said it before and I am guessing I will say it several more times in my lifetime. God came through for me in seemingly impossible ways, more than once, and I know as long as I am on this earth He will continue to do so because I have faith in His word, I trust Him! If it's in His word, It's His promise to me, and He NEVER breaks His promises! He won't change His word or take it back for me or anyone else. His word is His bond!

 I also believe in 2019 I will be amazed at the  GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, and the Manifested POWER of God in my life!

This week has definitely been a week of pushing through somethings for me.

   Yesterday was another day of getting out of my comfort zone. I joined a group on Facebook called Speak up Sis! It is suggested that each new member post a brief video introducing themselves. Totally out of my comfort zone, but I did it. I made several attempts then finally one I was halfway happy with. It's a private group so anyone who would like to join requests to join.
   There are rules all of the members agree to adhere to. Any member caught violating the rules would face being dismembered from the group. It's a safe space for women from all walks of life to share, be vulnerable, encourage and support each other without the threat of being bullied, laughed at, etc. You are asked to actively interact with the group which takes me out of my comfort zone a little, but it's a good thing.

   This has definitely been a year of preparation for me. A year of being still before God, listening and doing what He is asking me to do even when I am a little apprehension of the unknown. Getting into His word and studying it. Getting on my knees, cleansing my heart from toxins that have been holding me back. The more I seek God and give Him the hidden places in my heart that only He knows about, the more He is opening up the treasures of His word to me.
   Scriptures I have read several times are now leaping off of the page at me with nuggets of revelation knowledge. I am more at peace within myself, strengthened by the truth that as I lay those hidden places at the cross, not excepting them in my life anymore, I am not only strengthened and at peace within but I am able to hear His voice clearer.
   God loves me no matter what, getting rid of the junk that has clogged the flow of communication that was between us, slowing my life and calling down is causing my heart to feel so much better, freer! 💖

   I have discovered that it's the small stuff that can make a huge difference, hindering me from moving forward with what I am called to do in life. It's the little foxes that spoil the vine.

   Time is truly going by fast! It seems only yesterday it was January 1st, 2018. Now we are fast approaching January 1st, 2019.

   This has been such a year of growth for me spiritually, a year a preparation for sure. As I am growing from faith to faith I am seeing Jesus as more than my strength. Words could not adequately describe what I am feeling in my heart, His faithfulness, goodness, and mercy are beyond human words.
   At times all I can do is sit and bask in His goodness. The Bible says it is the Father's good pleasure to give me the kingdom, Luke 12:32 and Father in me that does the work, John 14:10. Through the books that I have written and the other things He has placed on my heart to do, I know without a doubt that word to be true. God is the author of the books I write, it's He that gives me the words to type. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would be an author, but God did. He specializes in the impossible, He takes what people would say is impossible and says, not so! With God all things are possible!

   The Kingdom of God is goodness, grace, and love. As I lean into the heart of God through His word, prayer, talking to him and listening to Him I am experiencing His kingdom. I am finding the more I know Him, the more compassion I have for others. 
   The bible says we are to pray for and bless our enemies, I used to have a really hard time doing that until I heard a well-known speaker state, the first thing God blesses people with is the truth. This tells me that when I pray for others that have hurt me or done me wrong that they will be blessed with the truth of the Gospel which is love, wholeness, and happiness, joy, basically all that is good! In my opinion, anyone that experiences the true love of God and not "religion" will not be the same. 
   
   The world is so hungry and looking for something to take away the void in their lives and give them hope. Something real. I will admit, even after being raised in "church" all of my life, I didn't really know real peace joy and strength until I found Jesus for real for myself. 
   After experiencing the peace and strength He has given me to get through life's biggest challenges, toughest storms, and hellacious situations NO one can tell me there isn't a God in heaven who sent His son Jesus to pay the price for me and set me free!

Welcome!                   11-15-18


   I am so grateful God is opening doors (opportunities) for me.

   I have come to recognize that when God talks to me about what He has in store for me or calling me to do, usually it is not a right away situation, and there is usually preparation involved. Preparation could mean many things. Sometimes the preparation involves separation. At times it means trusting what He has already said knowing whatever situation comes our way, His word is the final authority. So my preparation at times is trusting Him through the pressure of the situation. Which will take me from faith to faith.
   I have also learned that God doesn't start His children off believing Him for huge things. He starts with the small things, graduating us to believe for bigger things as we begin to have faith in Him, trusting Him, no matter what!

   I have stated prior to this writing that not everyone can go with you where you are going in life, it doesn't mean anything more than just that. Not everyone in your circle will go with you. Not every person in your life is there for a lifetime, some perhaps maybe, but not usually. Out of all the people I grew up with, I only have one person that I am still in almost daily contact with. It has been an almost 40-year friendship. Everyone has their own life to live and will go their own way on their own path. Some paths stay together and some meet again after years apart.
   In some cases, God simply wants alone time with us to get us quiet so He can to talk to us without distractions. People are still in our lives, there is just alone time. If there is too much noise we can't hear Him clearly, and sometimes not at all.
I personally look forward to my alone time with God, it's the place of peace, rest, and clarity.

    My team and I have been working on a huge project. In my heart, I felt to set a deadline for the completion of the documentation for this project to be the end of January 2019. At this time all documentation will be submitted for approval, after the approval takes place, look out here we come! A HUGE announcement!

   Years ago I heard a great teacher and life coach state, and I paraphrase, learn to be flexible on the journey. On this journey, I have heard that statement echoed in my ear more than once and found it to be valuable advice. There have been needed adjustments my team and I have made along the way, these adjustments will be valued in the future for not only my team and myself but for others that will be benefiting from this project.

  Where do I start, and how do I end this publishing?  11-3-18

I had the opportunity to speak this past Sunday at Bible study, "my church", it was such an honor!

   I opened my mouth and the words started pouring out. Although I had been in an all-day preparation with a page full of notes, I only looked at them once.
   I am passionate about Jesus and what He has done for me. When one goes through mental abuse as I have and comes out on the other side with their sanity and a testimony of the grace of God, how could I not be passionate about Him knowing He has brought me through the intense heat with a testimony of His faithfulness and Love.
    As I am writing this, I am reminded of something God spoke to me as I was explaining to Him that I wasn't prepared to go live June 21st, 2018. He said, "you have been being prepared all your life".

   When my pastor sent me a message Sunday morning asking me to teach Bible study, she ended her text with, thank you. Although she was asking me, I believed it was as if the Lord was saying through her, It's time, you are doing this. As I was reading her text I was reminded of the scripture in Zachariah 4:10 that talks about not despising the days of small beginnings. I believe it was Gods way of saying, this is your beginning. I am so grateful for it!

   What a ride! Life can be adventurous. In the midst of all the uncertainties of life, one truth holds certain in my life, "God IS Trust... Worthy!

   It was suggested to me by my Bishop that I pray about talking about my faith in God when I go live on Facebook. As I was driving home and through the next day I was meditating on doing just that when the words trustworthy came to me. As I was thinking about it, it was as though Jesus separated the words to, Trust... Worthy! 
   It was a light bulb moment, He "God" IS Trust... Worthy! Jesus is Worthy of my Trust in Him!
Romans 10:11 AMP says in short, no one who believes in Him will be disappointed. 
   
After Everything, He has brought me through and every promise He's made, He's kept! In the most challenging and impossible situation, He came through for me and kept His word to me.   How can I not trust Him!? To me, it's simple. 

Trust is defined as
noun
1. firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.
verb
2. believe in the reliability, truth, ability, or of strength

Worthy is defined as
adjective
1. having or showing qualities of abilities that merit recognition in a specified way.

Well, I have no words for the happenings of this past week.
:
One scripture that comes to mind is,

Romans 8:28
And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. AMP

When the enemy attacks my life or the lives of those I love I have a few choices.  I can be mad and complain like the children of Israel in Exodus. Or, I can be like Paul and Silas in
Acts 16:25-26. 

They prayed and sang praises to God. Long story short, chains were broken off of them.

   Both in Exodus and in Acts, these two scenarios tell me in the trying times of my life I can choose to either complain and stay in the wilderness, (keep reliving the situation and remain in the midst of it), or, know, no matter what the situation looks like or is, I can have assurance that God is going to work it out for my good. Our situations do not take Him by surprise.
   It took me a little while to figure that out. I have chosen to take the better road and not worry but trust in God and move on. Is it always easy? No, however, leaving people and situations in Gods hands is a far better option than leaving it in mine!

Welcome!


God is so good!

He is working behind the scenes, He is faithful! 

   So much is happening all around us no matter where we are. Seasons are ending and seasons are beginning. I know I am in a new season of life. It may be a small beginning, Zechariah 4:10,
 but as I keep moving forward what started as small, will become grand!

   I have always known but it is becoming more apparent that not everyone be it relative, or friend will be going with me in this new season of my life. It doesn't mean anything other that they are not going with me. Perhaps in the future, they will join me, but not at this time in my life. Not everyone one shares my vision or is as passionate about the new season I am in as I am, and that's ok!

   Everyone one has a dream they need to follow with no one to hold them back, nonintentionally or otherwise. I heard a statement but I am not sure of the source, the statement is as follows, -find your passion and you will have found your purpose-. Everyone has a passion no matter how big or small it may appear. Even the smallest of passions once pursued with purpose can become great and their purpose fulfilled.  If we find our selves feeling unfulfilled, could it be we are not following our passion to fulfill our dreams? Food for thought.

   I for one started feeling alive again once I started pursuing my dreams. Again, something to think about.

  Well, I made it through the last live Facebook.

   If you have been following my publishings I mentioned on 9-11-18, that I go live on Facebook.

   Every time I go live I take a deep breath and ask Holy Spirit to give me the words to speak, the last live broadcast was no different, just a little tougher.

   As I went live I talked about anxiety. I didn't realize I dealt with it until I gave God permission to break the walls of my life down that have been holding me back and take me to a place of healing. Anxiety is one of the "walls" as I call them, that needs to come down so I can walk in the healing Jesus paid the price for on the cross to give me.

   I have walked through most of my adult life feeling as though I made my bed and needed to lay in it. I felt as though I was tough but needed to be strong enough to handle everything that was coming against me. Belittling, etc. I didn't realize that the anxiousness that had crept into my life as I was being belittled and treated poorly was anxiety. Worrying I would do something wrong in the eyes of someone or wouldn't line up to their expectations of, how they thought I should be, what they thought I should say, or how they thought I should act.
   One day I realized that I would never measure up because there was a problem, and the problem wasn't me. Therefore, I stopped trying to be what others thought I should be and started loving myself again for who I really was. I have lived a life of seeking the conditional love of others, now, I am discovering the unconditional love of Jesus!

   I am learning and keep being reminded on my journey to healing that I need to keep forgiveness at the forefront of my life. It can be easy to let bitterness and unforgiveness creep back in. I keep my heart clean before God on a daily basis, allowing Him to heal those broken places in my life.

   I have come to the realization that there are those that need to be placed in Gods hands and put on the shelf of my life for a time as I allow Him to heal me. I need to keep my focus on Jesus and off of the actions of others. While not focusing on situations, but on what the word of God says about me, knowing that He has my back and He protects me.

   As situations have played out in my life, no matter how much they may hurt my heart or affect the trust I have in others, as I listen to and follow the leading of Holy Spirit I am being made aware of the truth that, No weapon formed against me shall prosper, and that we don't wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers. Isaiah 54:17, Ephesians 6:12. It can be tough because the enemy of our soul, Satan, uses people to do his dirty work, that's all he's got. It's up to me how I to respond to situations that are thrown at me, will I respond with the right attitude and in love?

   Within the past week, I have had Holy Spirit nudge me to keep my mouth shut. In one situation I needed to ask for forgiveness for not doing so, then the opportunity arose again to get fired up, I did not take that opportunity, instead, I kept my mouth shut. I don't want weeds and dirt to get in and block what God is doing in my life.

   Since the situations that are coming at me are huge, to me. I can't help but believe it's because God is working behind the scenes and huge things are happening for me. I am not going to slow down or block the flow of what He is doing by allowing, my mouth, unforgiveness or anything else to get in the way of what God has for me and Jesus paid the price to give me.

   Since 9-5-18, I have been watching the numbers on my Facebook page, "Tammie Pipgras" as they rise due to the viewing of my live videos.

   My thought is, "Lord, what should my next subject be"? To my surprise, I believe I am supposed to talk on the subject of anxiety.

   For years I lived my life crying inside, camouflaging everything with a smile, acting as though everything was peachy keen. There were those around me that needed to be protected from my reality.  Little did I know I wasn't protecting anyone, not even myself.

   Years later I have come, across people that fight stress and anxiety for various reasons. I always felt exempt, after all, I made it through the storm of life without having that chain hooked to me, or so I thought.

   As I have been allowing God to heal me from my past, He has brought a  realization to me. I wasn't immune like I thought I was. Looking back at every time I was put down or belittled sometimes in front of others for the smallest "wrong", it not only brought a sense of low-self-esteem but anxiety, worrying I needed to protect and shield others. And, being concerned others would see me as I felt he seen me. As "worthless".

   Anxiety is real. On my next Facebook live in the evening of either 9-11-18 or 9-12-18, PST  I am going to talk about how the strength and Love of God has brought me through. And how I am learning what "God," says about me as His child.

   There are times in life when life is hitting hard and you're not sure if you can take another step, or if you even want to.

   That is the very place I was the other day. I told God, "I didn't want to do this any longer". Honestly, I didn't know if I emotionally could. But, I knew I had to, I would have been for fitting too much to give up and walk away from life. That was this past labor day weekend 2018.

   There are times in life when as the bible says in Ephesians 6:13-14 ..." having done all to stand. 14 Stand there for...

These scriptures are talking about putting on the armor of God.. Verses 14-17.

   This, in my opinion, is something the church "Christians" need to do, "practice " on a consistent basis. I spend good quality time with God daily, I have a firm foundation. Yet, the circumstances of life became too much to want to continue as I was. I just couldn't keep moving in the same direction. I needed a word from God. I didn't want strength to keep going as, 1 Corinthians 10:13 talks about. I know His grace "strength" is sufficient, He has given me strength all my life to go through the storms "trials" of life. I needed more than strength to survive.

   Sunday evenings are our bible study night, we had a special speaker leading the study that labor day weekend. I told God before I left for the study that night that I needed to hear from Him, I needed a word. The topic that night was to everyone, it was about giving God the hidden places of your heart. Joel 2:12. Then, the one leading the study spoke to me about what was on his heart to tell me. The words he spoke to me brought me to tears almost instantly. This person does not know anything about me or my life. There are many things I keep to myself, "not everyone needs to know our business" God spoke to the deep things through this person, some of which I haven't even told my closest friend.

I am holding God to His word to me that night. I trust Him to keep His word. He has never failed me or let me down.

   Since my last post on 8-18-18, so many good things are transpiring.

   Once again, I have found the power of Gods word to be true. His word tells me to "hold fast to the confession of hope without wavering for He who promised is faithful".
Hebrews 10:23 NKJV

   I have done that and will continue to do so.

His word also says: But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! 1Corinthians 15:57 MEV ... Emphasis mine

"If God is for us, who can be against us" Romans 8:23 NKJV

"No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper" Isaiah 54:17 MEV
Things or situations will form, but as long as I have faith in His word and walk in love those things will not prosper.

God has given me His word that as long as I have faith in the truth of His word, and walk in love, the power of His word will bring the truth of His word to manifestation.  I have found that to be so.

ON ANOTHER NOTE

We need to pray for our pastors and leaders now more than ever! Pastors, although we expect them to be strong, they are human, just as we are. The enemy of our soul knows his time is short, therefore, he is going to do whatever he can to try and steal, kill, and destroy. John 10:10

There was a tragedy that took place this past week or so and a pastor took his life. That tragedy put me on my knees praying.

And while we are at it, pray for the president of the United States. If you call yourself a Christian, you should be doing just that. And if you live in another country, pray for your leader.

Since my last publishing on 8-10-18, along with fulfilling the necessary responsibilities needed to move forward to open my businesses, I have been keeping Gods word in my eyes and ears on almost a continual basis.

  YouTube has become a well-used resource in my life as of late. As many of you are well aware, I'm sure, that through the internet most of everything is at your fingertips.

   I am also finding as I go live on my new FB page that I am becoming more relaxed. As I have been listening to the many teachings on YouTube I have been reminded that when I go live or simply share with someone the goodness of God in person I have a responsibility to speak the truth that I know and not be intimidated by what they may think of me. I believe people are hungry for real, for truth!
(I know I was).
As I searched for truth the only way I knew how God met me where I was, I was desperate! I needed the Jesus I heard about and read about from men and women of faith that didn't water down the truth of Gods word to please others, but spoke truth to help others. Now that I have found Jesus, for real, I have a responsibility to tell others about Him and His goodness, the good news, the gospel. Because that is what the gospel is, is good news!

I have held onto Gods promises, He has proven that He is indeed faithful! He has opened the door that was seemingly impossible, it took faith in Him and His word to do it.

Today I entered the promised land, all 53,000 sq. ft. of it! There have been a few things required of me to enter that land. To me, the main thing was trusting His word above any circumstances that may arise.

In all of my life, I can truly say without a doubt He has never lied to me or let me down. Even when I messed up He was always there to pick me up. When someone would say I wasn't worthy, He would as me, but who do I say that you are? As He wiped the tears from my eyes.

As my team and I walked through the 53,000 sq. ft. building, I was overwhelmed with the goodness and faithfulness of God. I cannot describe it other than that. God started preparing me for this journey in 1985, the day I began beauty school.

Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

The journey continues, and the faithfulness of God will never end.

Welcome!

   Since my publishing on 7-22-18, I have been learning who I am as a child of God and the power that is in the name of Jesus.

   I have gone to church all of my life. My heritage is that of a Christian background. My grandpa on my mom's side helped build a church, he would go to work during the day and work on building the church in the evenings. After the church was built, he would get up early on Sunday mornings to go to the church and get the fire going in the burner to heat it before Sunday school. My grandma played the piano for church. As a matter of fact, they met at church. , Grandma accepted Jesus into her life before grandpa. He was quite the sinner before he accepted the Lord, or so the story of his life reads.
 
   My dad was a pastor. He was taught under the hellfire and brimstone doctrine, therefore, I came to know God as a hard taskmaster, being raised under that same doctrine. I wasn't taught the true gospel of the love of God and my rights being in His family, the family of God.

So I went on my own journey.
Since I have been on my journey of getting to know God for myself, I have been discovering who the God of my strength, peace, joy, and fullness is. I have tried the word of God by saying, "God this is what your word says, and it says that you can not lie" then I would quote whatever scripture to Him and hold strong my confession, being mindful not to say what I see, but only what His word says since I discovered that,
   Life and death are in the power of my tongue, and to hold onto my confession of faith.

Almost daily I speak Gods promises over my life. I have also discovered through experience that my words are truly creative. Therefore the question I need to ask myself is, am I going to speak life (freedom) or death (bondage) over my life? No one can chart the course of my life but I, the direction my life goes is on my tongue. I need to speak wisely!....

   I have been taught at the end of a prayer to pray in the name of Jesus. Jesus said, "whatever you ask the Father in my name He will give you".  John 16:23 NKJV 
   I have different questions about prayers I've prayed that seemingly have not been answered. I am learning it isn't enough simply pray in the name of Jesus, but I need to have faith in His name, and to have faith in His name, I need to know the true power of His name.
ALL THE FULLNESS OF OUR INHERITANCE, AND ALL AUTHORITY, IS IN HIS NAME!.... "JESUS"!
