Welcome!

Time has flown by, it's already Friday again. Since my last publishing on 2-9-18, I am continuing to press into the heart of God and continuing to move towards the opening my beauty school and daycare. Also, I have also started yet another book, but only slightly started.

As I continue moving forward preparing to open my businesses God continues to either bring people into my life or simply opens a conversation with people I already know who know people who have expertise in areas I need help in.

I am so thankful for everyone God has brought into my life to either help or guide me on this journey, otherwise, it would be overwhelming. I am so glad I'm not a "know it all" that I value the opinions of others, allowing them to run with their strengths while keeping my vision and the integrity of it at the forefront. God is helping me to get everything in place to run with the vision, leaving no stone unturned. As the saying goes, I'm getting all my ducks in a row.

I have been in contact with a friend who is going to take the wheel in helping me promote my book titled, - So Thankful! Life Behind The Posts- mentioned below. I do what I know to do, but promoting isn't one of my strengths. I'm excited to see what God has in store for me and my friend through this new venture.

As I am leaning into the heart of God through prayer, reading His word and listening to teachings on faith and my rights as God's child. I am discovering so many things that are so far from the doctrine of hellfire and brimstone I was raised under. It's mind-boggling, leaving me in AWE of Him and His love for me. The bible states that we are "destroyed for lack of knowledge", Hosea 4:6. Lack of not knowing His love for me and His promises to me because of Jesus finished work on the cross having received Him into my hearts. I needed to know His will for my life. I didn't know His will was to prosper me, giving me a future and a hope, Jeremiah 29:11.

The first time I heard Jeremiah 29:11, my thought was, "that scripture was for other people, not me." I had gone through so much in my life it felt like God had forgotten about me. I felt from mistakes I made and rebelling against God that I was getting what I deserved and had to learn to live with it. I had no hope that my life would really be happy, it was what it was.
Wow, I'm feeling a little vulnerable, but it's the way it was. I believe it's time we as Christians open up and let others that are hurting know that we have been there too and lead them to the one that can help them. We try and keep this facade like everything is ok when indeed it isn't. Everyone has their own story and reasons for concealing the matters of life, that's between them and God.
As for me, I was embarrassed, I'm not going to get into any details at this time, but that was my reason I put a smile on my face trying to conceal the brokenness of my life. I am learning to give God the brokenness and receive my healing that Jesus paid the price to give me.
We as the body of Christ need to recognize, believe and receive our God-given rights as His children through His Son. We are living so far below Gods plan for us, it's no wonder the world is looking other places for peace and to fill the void that can only be found in God.

It is my true desire to not only know God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in a way I have never known before but to help others, leading them to Jesus because it is only through Him that they will find the love, peace, joy and hope they are looking for. That will probably mean being really transparent and raw about what I have been through in life so they will know they are not alone.
